Green Line Pizza and Steak is located on the northern outskirts of Wilmington along Business US Highway 17, and is a nice and quick lunch or dinnertime spot for visitors who are en route to or from the Cape Fear coastline. Featuring a wealth of sandwiches, subs, pizzas and other appetite-stomping fare, this take out, dine-in, or delivery destination is definitely a crowd pleaser.

The menu is extensive and features a nice focus on pizzas, both by the slice, and in medium, large and extra-large square varieties. There are plenty of unique pizza specialties at the Green Line, including the Tuscan with pesto sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, and chicken, and the Philly-style steak stuffed pizza with American cheese. The menu certainly doesn’t end with pizza, however, and patrons can also chow down on a hearty selection of burgers, wings, strombolis, and gourmet sandwiches like the Oriental Chicken or the Buffalo Chicken with blue cheese sauce. True to its name, Green Line Pizza and Steak also has a nice array of steak sandwiches, including the classic cheese steak, the pizza steak sandwich, and the BBQ chicken steak sandwich. Able to cater to palettes of all tastes and sizes, Green Line Pizza and Steak will be a favorite go-to for solidly filling cuisine just outside the heart of Wilmington.

Wrightsville Beach Park

Wrightsville Beach Park

The sunny Wrightsville Beach Park, conveniently located in the heart of town, is a fantastic destination for an outdoor adventure that doesn't necessarily entail a trip to the beach. Adjacent to the Wrightsville Beach Parks & Recreation's main facilities, the Wrightsville Beach Arboretum, and plenty of wide open green spaces, this park is a perfect spot for enjoying a little free fun in the sun, without the risk of getting sand in the shoes.

Bijou Park

Bijou Park

Bijou Park is a hidden gem of a "blink and you'll miss it" attraction in Wilmington, and is a perfect spot for weary shoppers and strollers to find a quiet bench, stretch out their legs, and relax. Located in a rare gap in between downtown buildings on 225 N Front St, the park straddles the heart of Downtown Wilmington and a Riverfront parking area, but the section in between is quiet, peaceful, and buffered from the sound of the downtown traffic by the two tall but historic buildings on either side.
