309 Cottage Lane. (circa 1852) One of the few surviving early outbuildings.  Constructed for Levi Hart, partner in Hart & Bailey Iron Works.  His house stood on the northeast corner of South 3rd Street and Cottage Lane. Acquired by First Presbyterian in 1965.

Cottage Lane was one our favorite streets in Wilmington, be sure to take a stroll. The wooden cottage with the dormer windows was built  (circa 1845)  by John Williams, a local merchant, it was owned by his decendants until 1967.

25 S 3rd St. (1839-40) The congregation was established in 1729 and this church (1839-40) is the oldest in Wilmington.  Built in the Gothic-Revival style and designed by Thomas Walter of Philadelphia. There is an 18th century cemetery in the rear along 4th St.
