Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce offices are located along the Cape Fear River waterfront on Nutt St at the north end of Water Street, just past the Wilmington Railroad Museum. Originally organized in Wilmington in 1853, the Civil War and North Carolina's secession from the Union delayed the original Chamber. The eventual chartering in 1866 gave Wilmington's organization the distinction of being the first Chamber of Commerce in the state of North Carolina. www.wilmingtonchamber.org
