Riverboat Landing Restaurant and Bar will impress patrons right from the start with a stunning Downtown Wilmington location on the corner or Water and Market Streets. Featuring two levels of dining, including the coveted private dining areas on the second level balconies, Riverboat is the place to go for southern cuisine and fresh seafood in a beautiful heart-of-Wilmington atmosphere.
While the locale is arguably the star attraction, the lunch and dinner menus are enticing in their own rights, thanks to a varied selection of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and lunch and supper-sized entrees. Popular dishes include the Jambalaya, which perfectly complements the New Orleans-style setting, and which is filled with andouille sausage, chicken, and basmati rice, and the Spicy Shrimp Fra Diavalo, which boasts sweet Italian sausage, onions, tomatoes, garlic, and tossed linguini. There’s a Cajun and creole influence in many of the dishes, and seafood fans are especially well represented thanks to Cape Fear staples like clam chowder, steamed mussels, and Island style Mahi fingers. There are also a handful of traditional pastas, burgers and sandwiches, as well as more unique items like the Grilled cheese panino and the Greek gyros.
It’s an eclectic selection, and it almost overshadows the brilliant view, but in the end, patrons will return again and again for the amazing vistas of the Cape Fear River.
