Do you appreciate being able walk to the beach and work on the tan in 60 seconds??? Welcome to Our Gang!!! It is located second row on Sunset Beach with the beach access right outside your front door.
We are in the process of doing updates. In 2019, we just installed new floors and put NEW Mattresses. We also added a Second King Bed with new furnishings. We refreshed the DVD Players and installed faster WIFI. Stay tuned to future updates after this rental season.
One of our favorite things to do at the beach is to sit in the colorful rocking chairs and take in the ocean view from the screened in deck.

There is nothing like waking up in the morning with the sliding doors open and listening to the waves on the beach.

This home is very clean and well maintained with a bright and open floor plan. Savor the reliable hot water heaters, outside shower and crisp air conditioner after a long day at the beach.

We supply the comforters, bed pads and pillows. Renters must supply linens, towels, paper products and cleaning supplies for their stay.

The kitchen has all of the amenities of home with plenty of counter space. Dining room table seats 6 with 4 more at the bar.

Rental booking tips and tricks:

When to book a Wilmington, NC rental & When to go:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the largest vacation home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Look for your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines have discounts for nearby tours and attractions.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. 2nd Row with Beach Access! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Wilmington, NC rental home search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property management company before booking the vacation property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine what bed configuration is right for your family.
  • If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly rental. Get information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's a particular Wilmington, NC attraction you simply love, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.

More considerations:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • To make sure damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, record any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the property manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peace. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great time? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
