We charge $100/day to heat the pool. During the winter months, please note that we are unable to guarantee the pool heater will reach a temperature that is entirely satisfying. The highest the heater can go is 86°F, and there’s also a risk of the pipes being too cold to turn on the heater. If temperatures drop below 30°F, we are unable to activate it. How to get the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Wilmington, NC vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.

  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
