There is a brand new 16' x 16' gazebo with lights and furnishings, along with 30 amp shore power. Note that the dock was extended to allow for 2 additional feet of water depth.

The great room of this home features vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams and a appealing open floor plan that floods the living space with natural light. The new owners are also updating furnishings throughout. You can savor sound front vistas and watching boaters navigate the waterway from the beautiful kitchen that features a comfortable rustic décor. The kitchen overlooks the living room and a dining area that leads out to a generous screened in porch with expansive vistas of the canal. A modest desk enables travelers that need to work remotely a great workspace with a calming back drop. There is a enormous area underneath the home that is ideal for shaded relaxation and provides an enclosed outdoor shower.

Fishermen will certainly appreciate the boathouse and pier. A public boat ramp is conveniently located just around the corner and there is ample parking for your boat trailer on the side of the home. Some guests rent gas golf carts to ride up to the beach or up to our legendary Carolina Beach Boardwalk where you find stores, eateries, and an abundance of summer activities such as fireworks, carnival rides and live music.

Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in the Summer. Minimum two nighttime stay other seasons.

Parking: Parking for 4 cars, or three cars and a boat trailer. Do not park on the lawn.
Prohibited: Smoking, Parking on the Lawn. Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
Pet Policy: Pet Policy: Dogs welcome as an optional add-on for this property with a non-returnable fee of $250 + tax that is charged per pet. min. of 2 dogs per reservation. Charge will be added after booking when the option to bring a pet and number of family pets are selected. Nonrefundable costs are listed in the House Rules and animals must be disclosed via the Rental Agreement. Fees are not supplied automatically when booking on Vacation Rental By Owner and must be paid separately to the host if you wish to bring a pet(s). Failure to disclose and prepay for dogs will result in penalty costs which are disclosed in House Rule #16.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-returnable cancellation costs and travel insurance (if applicable).
