Our 1965 vintage Oak Island bungalow is waiting to be your relaxing Oak Island hideaway! We fell in appreciate with elegant piece of island history and we know that you will too. Wonderfully refreshed, but preserving handsome classic details, our home offers a enormous, entirely updated and equipped kitchen with granite countertops, soft close drawers and cabinets, plentiful storage and stainless steel whirlpool appliances. No need to worry about handwashing dishes...the remodel incorporated a brand new dishwasher! The cavernous living room offers extravagant leather furnishings, with both a rocker and a recliner. The bedrooms have brand new beds and linens in 2021, with a king bed in the primary bedroom and two queen beds in the second bedroom. If you're traveling with modest kids, no problem! A pack 'n play is available for your little one. The bathroom has been completely updated with a walk-in tile shower, granite-topped vanity and tile floor. Our home also offers a laundry room and a huge sun porch. The rear deck has comfortable seating where you can savor a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Worried about a packing beach gear? Don't be! A high quality beach wagon, four beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, modest cooler, and a bocce ball set are supplied with your rental. No need to worry about linens either, they are supplied! The home offers plenty of board games and books, as well as a Fire TV stick -- just log in to your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney +, or Apple TV account and stream your favorite shows. A DVD player and selection of movies is also available. Want to venture off the Island for some more adventure? Skydiving and helicopter tours are just a few miles away or you can make the short 10 min. drive to Southport for delightful shopping and dining. The attractions of Wilmington are 45 mins. and Myrtle Beach is an hour and 15 mins. away.
