There’s no excuse to put off a day of fishing with this friendly and professional charter boat company that patrols the waters just off the Cape Fear shoreline for some of the region’s tastiest and most photo-worthy catches. Based in Wrightsville Beach, No Excuses Fishing Charters specializes in custom light tackle saltwater trips around the Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Figure Eight Island, and the Cape Fear River, ensuring that anglers will get a nice tour of the immediate area while reeling in some wonderfully big catches.
No Excuses Fishing Charters launches on inshore, nearshore, and offshore fishing charters (up to 25 miles) to target a wide range of seasonal species, from puppy drum and blues, to flounder and sheepshead. The trips are spearheaded by Capt. Mike Pedersen, who is a USCG licensed captain with more than 30 years fishing experience that he puts to work for his passengers. Each charter is personally designed, depending on an angler’s skill level and where the fish are found, ensuring that no two charter trips are exactly the same, and that each passenger has the best time possible. From family fishing trips to die-hard fishing expeditions with your angler buddies, No Excuses Fishing Charters provides ample reasons to get out there and start fishing.
