South Beach Grill is a cool little restaurant that’s close to the water, and which uses this locale as an inspiration for its tasty, seafood-heavy menu. Serving lunch and dinner in the nicely decorated inside dining area, as well the expansive waterfront patio, this chic café is a fine place to dive into a big, beachy meal.

Both the lunch and dinner menus are a little unique but vast, with appetizers, small plates, salads, and lunch and dinner specialties designed to appeal to big appetites. Hungry patrons will want to start with the southern fried black eyed peas, the pulled pork flatbread, or the seafood nachos – which is a favorite among frequent diners. For lunch, munch on a fresh flatbread or wrap, like the chicken salad flatbread sandwich or the buffalo chicken wrap, or dive into a heart shrimp Po’boy, grouper tacos, or decadent shrimp and crab mac and cheese. For dinner, patrons will want to check out the chalkboard specials for the absolutely freshest seafood available, like Atlantic grouper or flounder, or can enjoy a satisfying range of rotating entrees, like seafood lasagna, NY strip, or Carolina Osso Bucco with tender NC pork. Always filling, with fresh ocean breezes and prime views, South Beach Grill is a celebration of coastal eating at its biggest and best.

Wrightsville Beach Park

Wrightsville Beach Park

The sunny Wrightsville Beach Park, conveniently located in the heart of town, is a fantastic destination for an outdoor adventure that doesn't necessarily entail a trip to the beach. Adjacent to the Wrightsville Beach Parks & Recreation's main facilities, the Wrightsville Beach Arboretum, and plenty of wide open green spaces, this park is a perfect spot for enjoying a little free fun in the sun, without the risk of getting sand in the shoes.

Bijou Park

Bijou Park

Bijou Park is a hidden gem of a "blink and you'll miss it" attraction in Wilmington, and is a perfect spot for weary shoppers and strollers to find a quiet bench, stretch out their legs, and relax. Located in a rare gap in between downtown buildings on 225 N Front St, the park straddles the heart of Downtown Wilmington and a Riverfront parking area, but the section in between is quiet, peaceful, and buffered from the sound of the downtown traffic by the two tall but historic buildings on either side.
