The King’s Table

The King’s Table is a central destination for golfing visitors and residents of the Castle Bay Country Club who crave a fresh sandwich, salad, or other bite to eat that pairs nicely with a full day on the golf course. Boasting a castle-like atmosphere that is found throughout this corner of Hampstead, and featuring a classic menu that features a nice array of American staples, this eatery is a solid destination for vacationing golfers, large parties, and everything in between.

The menu is short but somewhat varied, with a selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees for dinnertime guests. Though the options may be limited, guests will be treated to a decent variety of familiar and coastally inspired fare, like the fried shrimp and steamed mussel appetizer – which is perfect for guests who are enjoying a drink at the on-site bar – or the fried flounder sandwich or ribeye steak-based French Dip. The entrees continue this “standard but southern” theme, with options like filet mignon, mussels marinara, and Shrimp New Orleans with a spicy Cajun cream sauce, and patrons will find a welcome range of cocktails and drinks to complement a meal. With a nice setting and a familiar but slightly creative menu, The King’s Table is a solid post-game spot for Hampstead area golfers.
