It’s a family-aligned beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for! It’s an AMAZING place to visit, live, and never leave!

The home lies directly in the middle of both Carolina and Kure Beaches and is a long walk or short drive from downtown Carolina Beach and everything that is has to offer. In Carolina Beach you’ve got the boardwalk, eateries, and local stores of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or event boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island.

You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is close by, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday. We welcome you to sit back, relax and appreciate yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for!

The entry to this 4 bedroom/4 bath townhome *sandcastle* opens into a single car garage with ample storage space for all your personal beach nick-knacks, bicycles, trikes and belongings! Moving inside from the garage to your immediate right resides Bedroom #1, the “kids’ room” with a Twin + Full bunk bed, intelligent TV, and Full bathroom #1 (complete with a shower/tub combo) directly next door to round out this ideal ground floor space for ANY age! (*There is a intelligent TV in EVERY room, including the upper deck space!)

Heading West deeper into the home sits Bedroom #2 with a Queen-size bed, direct “Jack & Jill” bath access to bathroom #1, and a intelligent TV of its own. Steps away from bedroom #2 is the ground floor elevator ready to test your altimeter and whisk you upstairs! The combination of both a private elevator and staircase accepts the entire family to traverse the home with comfort and ease as it extends to each floor, less the rooftop terrace deck.

As you make your way upstairs, you pass a side door to and from the home on your right which accepts quick access to the outdoor shower and a sure-fire way to ensure the sand dunes remain outside for ALL to enjoy! As the local (or express!) train continues on, an expanse of charming expansive vistas and sliders stop you in your tracks. The master bedroom (Bedroom #3) complete with a King size bed, ensuite bathroom (#2) with a double vanity, hottub tub, and standup shower stall accompanies your private upsized East facing balcony (*complete with Sea Salt breezes at no added cost! *

Also on this floor, you’ll find a remote work cubby (*use sparingly*), huge screen TV, and another private deck space providing both interior AND exterior dining options to suit the weather, mood, or ambience.

As if partial Atlantic vistas, crisp morning breezes, and pelicans floating in tandem overhead less than two blocks away from Wilmington Beach wasn’t enough, a spiral staircase takes you up a final flight to a really remarkable indoor/outdoor space complete with solar lights, an array or outdoor seating, yet ANOTHER intelligent TV, and access to a tranquility and respite that will simply melt your cares into the sun-kissed seascape before you. It’s not IF you deserve this, it’s how quick can you visit!

Pleasure Island is a coastal barrier island in Southeastern North Carolina, USA just south of the City of Wilmington. Pleasure Island is located within Federal Point Township, in New Hanover County. The coastal resort towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, as well as the annexed communities of Wilmington Beach and Hanby Beach are located on the island. The building itself is one row away from the ocean, and two rows in from the Intracoastal Waterway. The suite is less than a mile from the heart of Carolina Beach and everything that is has to offer with its stores, activities, and dining. There are fireworks during the summer every Thursday nighttime, Movies at the lake each Sunday nighttime, and local fairs around the lake each Saturday morning.

Carolina Beach is a mix of friendly locals, snowbirds, and visitors all looking to escape the inland and enjoy the sand, surf, and sun. We really have an spectacular community! Carolina Beach and the surrounding neighborhoods offer an array of sights and activities to enjoy while here. Some of these examples are (but not limited to) a subtle beach hike through Carolina Beach State Park, Fishing on the Kure Beach Pier, kayaking to one of the many islands surrounding the Intracoastal Waterway, watching canons blast during a historical reenactment at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, or petting some Sting Rays at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. This doesn’t even include the aweing scenery of Airlie Gardens, and our very own battleship (USS NC) in Wilmington! Perhaps more calming and less “adventure” is your speed? Our own local Brewery (Good Hops) along with a round of Frisbee golf may be what the doctor ordered!

There isn’t anywhere or anything on our Island that isn’t accessible with foot power. Downtown Carolina Beach has multiple vendors such as Tony Silvagni’s Surf School @ 308 S Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428 (bicycles, paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, chairs, and umbrellas) for rent as an alternative to walking or driving. There's Sun Fun Units @1204 N Lake Park Blvd Unit F Carolina Beach, NC 28428. Taxi’s (local golf cart taxi’s) and Uber’s are also generally available for an assist when needed as well throughout the island! You can catch a Ferry to Southport in Kure Beach @ 2422 Fort Fisher Blvd S Kure Beach which leads to another ferry to Bald Head Island where NO CARS are allowed at all!

After all, you won’t catch many locals going OTB! (Over The Bridge). Everything you need is right here!

Tips for getting the perfect rental home experience:

When to book a Wilmington, NC rental home & When to go:

  • Booking your Wilmington, NC vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for local tours and attractions.

Planning, picking, and booking the bestvacation home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. \"A WAVE from it ALL!\" SEA everything you DREAM of! has 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking pages. If not, email the property management company before you book the property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If there's an individual Wilmington, NC beach you are crazy about, keep an eye out for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Upon arrival, record any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
