Welcome to Bali Breeze, our pretty beach home on the first row with ocean vistas! Prepare to be wowed when you first step onto the porch by an amazingly crafted day bed made by us, the homeowners. Fill your down time while swaying on the bed or calming on the other porch furnishings, while you feel the Atlantic Ocean breeze blowing your way. Sensational Carolina Beach is across the street and only a short walk to public beach accesses located either to the right or left of the property.

Inside the front door you'll find an open floor plan with a sizable sectional, giant dinning space and a ideally outfitted kitchen. Half bath is conveniently located by the washer/dryer area right off the living space. Our home offers two master suites (king beds), with one being on the first floor and the other right above on the second floor. Additional two bedrooms (1-queen) (2-double bunk beds, one bunk set is full sized & the other is full on bottom and twin on top, plus additional full size trundle) which are located off another living space on the second floor that's ideal for kids. Sit back and gaze at the ocean or read a book on the second floor porch or living space.

Home offers a double garage and huge driveway with additional space for ample parking. Located off the garage is a drop zone which is ideal for shoes and anything that needs to be hung up. Outdoor shower is right by the side garage door that offers tons of privacy. Above this is another amazing porch with a beautiful teak table and grille located conveniently by a door that leads right into the kitchen area...ideal for those beach BBQs. Huge side yard for kids to play and not typical on your standard beach property.

Not only is our home right across the street from the beach, but we are located within walking distance to tons of eateries, bars, ice cream and stores. Golf cart rental companies available upon request, as we do not offer a golf cart with your rental.

Needing to work from home while on vacay? We got you covered with pretty wifi and enough space to spread out for some tranquility and peaceful.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this vacation home is in the city center and near the beach. Ocean Front Park and Fort Fisher State Historic Site are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Old Brunswick County Jail Museum and Brunswick Town Historic District. Traveling with kids? Consider Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wilmington, NC area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides have offers and deals for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • Start by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a budget.

  • Some rental properties allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Is your family looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.

Additional considerations:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many problems.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Upon check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a terrific vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
