Wonderful oceanfront Carolina Beach duplex rental, elegantly decorated. The Upper level has two bedrooms and one bath and the Lower level has two bedrooms, 1.5 baths for a total of four bedrooms and two and a half baths. Light and airy with tons of space. Wifi supplied and basic cable. Cavernous decks for sitting, calming and taking in the ocean vistas. Outside shower has hot and cold water that is ideal for an after beach shower. NEW fenced in yard for your furry friends to appreciate!  Both the street side deck and the oceanfront deck off the lower level have a gate to keep your dog secure.  Only three blocks from the Carolina Beach Fishing Pier and Freeman Park 4-Wheel Drive Area. A pet is allowed with a $150 pet fee. Pet type must be approved prior to booking.
 
Sheets and towels are NOT included within the unit. The unit only provides bed pads, pillows and comforters. If you prefer not to travel with linens, ask us about our linen rental service we have here at our office.

Sticking to a rental budget:

  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Wilmington, NC area. Book your rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guides have coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
