Tiger Pride is conveniently located directly between 2 public beach accesses.

You will enjoy the convenience of an elevator that takes you from the covered parking/pool area to the first and second floors ... makes for very painless unloading of your car rather than hiking your belongings up 2-3 flights of stairs like other short-term units on the island. The first floor (middle) offers a sitting/entry area, 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms. The second floor (top) offers an open floor plan with a well-equipped, entirely supplied kitchen, a level bar area with seating for 6, and a enchanting dining area that seats 10 people comfortably. This dining room table is unusual as many other home units offer fewer seatings.

Unwind in the inviting great room with vistas of the ocean. There is a full-size laundry room with a washer and dryer just off the kitchen. There is also a second master bedroom with a private bath with marsh vistas and a common half bath off the kitchen as well. There are various decks and covered porches from which you'll enjoy taking in the view, watching the coastal wildlife, dining, and entertaining.

Our kitchen is completely supplied like no other! You have at your fingertips a fully-outfitted coffee bar with all the trimmings, copious pots and pans, endless glassware, poolware, and a top-notch BBQ utensil set.

A charcoal grille is available for your use alongside the pool deck as well as a constructed-in bar area with a refrigerator. An outdoor shower is located on the ground floor to wash the sand away at the end of the day. Take in excellent sunrises and sunsets over the ocean right from the front or back porch.

Stay connected and entertained with 7 flat-screen TVs, WiFi, and a Sonos Surround Sound Speaker system. (Which streams music into the pool area, living room, and front balcony!) We also have 2 bicycles for you to enjoy strolling around the island. This property is great for off-season golf and Oyster Fest weekends!! With all of its detailed features, this home is the vacation getaway you and your guests have been looking for. Stay and experience this professionally decorated and charmingly furnished bespoke-raised beach home.

*We HIGHLY recommend trip insurance, especially during hurricane season. We are unable to provide a refund due to storms, hurricanes, illness, COVID, etc.

*Pool heater available at an additional cost of $125 per day. Please note, the pool is heated to 86 degrees, and while it does not feel like a hot bathtub, it does get warm.

Tips to get the best Wilmington, NC vacation home experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Summer is high season in the Wilmington, NC area. To find the largest rental within budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Many property management companies supply Wilmington, NC area travel guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting the perfect rental in the Wilmington, NC area:

  • First, have your group select a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Paradise 5-Bedroom Beach Home w\/ Private Pool, Elevator & 2 King Beds has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly available online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before reserving the property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many issues.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
