*Our unit is not handicap accessible. There are two short flights of stairs to access our unit. Please know you do have to walk up steps. Once inside, the unit is one floor.
*This is a condo, meaning common areas such as the backyard, breezeway, and widow's peak are shared. Areas that are not shared include: the unit itself, the driveway, the storage room, and the outside shower.
*The building is comprised of 2 units. One unit is ours and the upstairs unit is also a rental, but it is owned by someone else entirely.

About the Area

Located in Carolina Beach, this condo is near the beach. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC area magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have money saving offers on local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
