Located in Downtown Wilmington's Historic District, our home was constructed in 1889! Known as the "Cummings-Taylor House", on a cobblestone paved-road and consists of three cavernous, private/separate apartments. It has been completely, meticulously modernized & decorated to preserve its rich history + aesthetic.

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to compel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
