Located just steps from the sand and Freeman Park, this bright and airy condo offers relaxing marsh vistas from the back deck and invigorating ocean breezes from the front porch.

Wake up to gorgeous sunrise vistas over the ocean and relax in the evening with beautiful sunsets over the marsh. You’re just a five-min. walk from the iconic Carolina Beach Pier, where you’ll find the lively Tiki Bar & Grille and the trendy High Tide Parlor—ideal for casual beachside dining, drinks, and live music.

The Neighborhood:
We are at the North end of the island, a half a block away from the entrance to Freeman Park. Freeman Park is a historic location where you can drive onto the beach with your 4-wheel drive car, and bring your dog (on-leash) all year round. The ocean is a block away, and beach access is very simple to get to, with one of many entrances located right beside the High Tide Parlor. We’re a mile from downtown Carolina Beach where you will find a ton of eateries, bars, and stores.

Getting Around:
Guests have access to one designated parking space during their stay. If you’re bringing a four-wheel drive car, you’re welcome to savor the unique experience of driving directly onto the beach at close by Freeman Park. Prefer to discover the island on two wheels or by golf cart? There are multiple local stores in town that offer convenient units.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property: A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and beach access may be unavailable in certain locations.

Located in Carolina Beach, this property is near the beach. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Carolina Beach Arcade and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting.

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the largest rental within budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.

When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
Did you have a excellent stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
