Our huge family home has been a traveler favorite for many years with beach access right across the street!  Multiple decks afford Marina and Ocean Vistas throughout. The price represents a true bargain for such a enormous beach home rental! Focus on family with a big play day on the beach. Then, relax from your fun-filled day in the bright, open upstairs great room with generous seating for the whole family. Eating together is a joy with a sizable dining table seating 11, completely equipped modern kitchen and even a wine refrigerator!  While your beach vacation will spotlight togetherness at the core of Sandstep 619-2 ; you will be able to spread out in comfort and privacy for sleep with two King Primary Suites and four comfortable bedrooms.



Sandstep Resort is a modest, oceanfront townhouse community with pool. You’ll be sure to flourish at this exclusive community, where you can appreciate the shared community oceanfront pool, walk to the beach right across the street, and fall in adore with the casual island appeal of Carolina Beach. 



Ground Level:

Tandem Covered parking for up to 4-5 cars (size dependent.) Limited on-street parking. Outdoor Shower, additional storage for beach toys.

Public beach access across the street. Shared Pool. Private Community Beach Access also via the pool area.

Elevator or Stairwell access to Entrance. 

Pool hours are from 9 AM to dusk. The max. number of guests allowed in the pool area at any given time is 16, including kids. Guest count will be monitored by the HOA.



Level 2: Two King Suites are located beside each other on the ocean side of the home. Two family bedrooms side by side occupy the marina side of the home.

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Check-out is by 10 am. 

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.



Guest Access: Hard key.



House Rules:

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette events, sororities/fraternities 

No smoking

You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.



Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Elevator Policies:

Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures. 



Pet Policy: No family pets allowed.



We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famed Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of eateries, an arcade, stores, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Getting Around:

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in trendy spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bicycle – they're super walkable and bicycle-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bicycle routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bicycle is painless, too, with numerous local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Units are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.
