The top floor has a impressive, broad, open floor plan with kitchen, dining room, living room, and wet bar all under cathedral ceilings and with spectacular ocean vistas. There are sliding glass doors that open to a deck with an outdoor table for eating or just calming while appreciating the sights and sounds of the ocean. The living room has a comfortable L shaped couch in front of a huge screen TV with Sonos 5.1 surround sound. Also on the top floor is a king bedroom with a private bath and private balcony with vistas of the Carolina Beach inlet, part of inter-coastal waterway. Next to that is a bedroom with a queen bed with a twin bunk over it. The bunk bedroom shares a full bathroom with the hallway. There is an Xbox in that room.
Downstairs are two extravagant King Master Bedrooms with oceanfront vistas and a shared deck. Each has a private Master Bathroom. On this level is a bedroom with a double bed with a trundle and daybed with a trundle with a private deck with vistas of the inter-coastal waterway. Next to that is a bedroom with another king bed (so 4 king bedrooms total). The laundry room is also on this level with full sized stacked front load washer and dryer. Private, working elevator from ground floor to top two floors (our 6 BR home is the top 2 levels / unit 100 is the lowest level of the building).
Parking for 6 cars, 4 under cover, an outdoor shower, and a closet with beach chairs/toys/umbrellas.

This property is very conveniently located next to a beach access with a ramp and a lifeguard stand for added safety (there is a lifeguard for most of the day during the summer months). It is also right across the street from a coffee shop/ little to go food restaurant (breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls, breakfast burritos and then hamburgers, gyros etc for lunch); this store also has tons of convenience items (ice, milk, creamer etc) so it is an fantastic asset to have right across the street! We are about 8 blocks north of the boardwalk area where there are SO MANY eateries. On Saturday mornings during the summer there is a fun farmer's market / craft booths set up all around the lake which is just on the other side of the boardwalk. This town also has an excellent firework show most Thursday nights during the summer and other activities fun for the family. If you like live bands there are often live bands at the Sea Witch or other establishments on the boardwalk.

Rental booking tips:

Get the most from your budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Wilmington, NC area. Booking your Wilmington, NC vacation home in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • First and foremost, have your group commit to dates and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Oceanfront with Amazing Views! has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you reserve your home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish which bed configuration is right for your family.
  • If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly rental. Request information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Wilmington, NC destination you love, keep an eye out for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

Additional considerations:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your phone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • During check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
