"SEAHAWK HIDEAWAY" has bit of a Oceanfront view and a Marsh view and is a condo located on the northern end of Pleasure Island. Live as a Carolina Beach local. This is a outstanding place for your summer vacation, or a charming weekend hideaway. Take advantage of the cozy Carolina beach town which embodies coastal Americana. Take a short walk to the boardwalk, pier, beach stores, and many friendly eateries. Seahawk Hideaway is also available for monthly rental during the off season. Our condo is elegantly decorated, freshly updated, and includes complimentary Wi-Fi, and Roku TV. There are two parking spaces. The kitchen is entirely-equipped and linens and bath towels are supplied for complimentary - all you need to bring is your food.

The Master Bedroom has a comfortable king bed and ensuite bath with a private balcony. There is also a queen air bed (much more comfortable than the sleeper couch couch )in the hall closet. There is a washer/dryer for your convenience. LINENS ARE PROVIDED (just bring your beach towels)

Ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine, it is one of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, where you can get your fill of famed homemade donuts, ice cream, and fudge, play in the arcade, see the ocean from the Ferris wheel, or dance the nighttime away to live music. During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, laughter and the squeals of kids of all ages as they whoosh and whirl past on the assortment of rides at the oceanside amusement park and savor all the fun of the boardwalk. There is a complimentary concert and fireworks on the boardwalk at Carolina Beach every Thursday nighttime, weather permitting. Don t forget to go by Britt s donuts for a one of a kind experience.

North Carolina Aquarium - The North Carolina Aquarium is a delight for all ages. Movies and programs for all are offered, and the staff is very helpful.

Cruise and fishing charters - Visit the Carolina Beach Marina down the street Take a sightseeing cruise or charter a fishing expedition. Anglers, the fishing is great! Fish on the beach, from the pier, catch a head boat, charter a boat, or launch your own at a public launch. There are many water sports to appreciate. You can rent or bring your own equipment for snorkeling, surfing and boating adventures.

On Pleasure Island you will also find the best seafood eateries around, a park and modest lake with paddle boats and walking trails, a tiki hut on the beach (you can listen to live bands), beach stores, bicycle units, and much more. In addition to the many parks, dog parks, trails and bicycle paths, the Carolina Beach State Park is nearly 1,000 acres of exploration and trails, including a boat launch area.

There is a bicycle path that runs along a part of the island. There are two piers on the island for fishing. Pleasure Island features various festivals throughout the year. The Spring Festival at Carolina and Kure Beaches features live entertainment, arts and crafts. Several Golf courses are located close by and there is a disc golf course at Kure Beach. and at Good Hops Brewery. There are multiple stores in the area featuring beach items ranging from clothing to home decor. Numerous eateries are just a short walk from the condo and serve meals ranging from snacks and casual to more formal evening meals.

Historic Downtown Wilmington, Located 17 miles away, this port city plays host to various special events. The North Carolina Battleship Museum and riverfront cruises are in Wilmington. Stroll the waterfront, and enjoy fine dining at the many eateries located on the Cape Fear River. Enjoy antiques, original art and handcrafted jewelry. Take one of the ghost tours, the guides will tell you a bit of the history of this old city, and maybe a secret or two. Horse drawn tours of the city are also available. During the summer outdoor activities are scheduled along the Wilmington riverfront. A ferryboat makes the half hour trip to the quaint town of Southport. Vehicles or Bicycles may be taken onto the ferry that goes from Fort Fisher to Southport, both great places to visit.
