"The Dapper Snapper" may be just the home away from home you are looking for! The home consists of 1800 sq ft of balconies, salty breezes, and adventures galore! The home's prime location, supplied amenities and beach proximity will make spending your time beach-combing and sun-seeking an Ocean BREEZE!
The space
Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher) has become a RAPIDLY increasing vacation (and full-time!) destination for the East coast and beyond for many reasons. Because we are in fact a true island, our "max. capacity" and restricted parking options will always limit the number of visitors who can both rent on and visit our Island simultaneously! Although always relative, this provides a bit more elbow room and open space than average for those looking for more “distancing” and privacy than some bigger public beaches. It’s a family-aligned beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for! It’s an AMAZING place to visit, live, and never leave!
The home itself lies directly in the middle of both Carolina and Kure Beaches and is a long walk or short drive to downtown and everything that is has to offer. In Carolina Beach there are fireworks during the summer every Thursday nighttime, Movies at the lake each Sunday nighttime, and local fairs around the lake each Saturday morning. Carolina Beach is a mix of friendly locals, snowbirds, and visitors all looking to escape the inland and appreciate the sand, surf, and sun.
The Dapper Snapper" is a three level 1800 sq ft home that has something for everybody! The ground floor greets you with parking for 3, a private shower stall that's ideal for rinsing off the sand you've picked up from the beach, and a storage area with a few beach accessories that our impressive owner has left.
The entry to this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home opens up into a huge, freshly furnished family room (and private balcony!) combined with an open dining area and entirely equipped modern kitchen (stove+oven, refrigerator). The kitchen is outfitted with all of the basic cooking and dining silverware one can expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.). In addition, there is a microwave, toaster and coffer maker to help make yourself at home (and on Vacay!). Courtesy organic soap, shampoo, and lotion are left in the bathroom of each suite as well as a starter roll of TP, a garbage bag, dish soap and sponge in each kitchen. Bedroom #1(Q), along with full bathroom #1 (w/shower) also reside on this level.
Take the stairway on up where 3 additional bedrooms; Bedroom #2(K), Bedroom #3 (Twin x 2), and Bedroom #4(Q) reside. Bathroom #2 is an on-suite bath of the master suite with its "peek-a-boo" water vistas and private balcony. Bathroom #3 services the other two bedrooms on the floor.
The home's ONE KING, TWO QUEEN and TWO TWIN bed's consist of either a plush luxury bed or a new encased 8” memory foam/cooling gel composition bed because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge.

This doesn’t even include the awing scenery of Airlie Gardens, and our very own battleship (USS NC) in Wilmington! Perhaps more calming and less “adventure” is your speed? Our own local Brewery (Good Hops) along with a round of Frisbee golf may be what the doctor ordered!

Pup rules for Pet Friendly homes
•Any interactions between your furry son or daughter and other neighbors (animal OR human) are completely at your discretion (and *liability). Please be a responsible pup owner and protect yourselves and others as may be necessary!
•Pups are NEVER allowed on any furnishings. (*Single biggest added charge from the cleaners/owners post stay.)
•Do NOT let your pup bark excessively in any multi-unit environment.
•ALWAYS pick up after your pup IMMEDIATELY after the potty sesh.
•If maintenance needs to visit, ENSURE your pup is put in their respective kennels. This coincides with rule #1.
•If the home/apartment has an outdoor shower, please use it to rinse off your pup after a day of fun. Not only will that help to prevent a potential plumbing call (typically pup hair: that would fall to the guest to remedy $), but a clean pup is much less likely to result in a post stay hygiene charge.
