Looking for a true beach bungalow for your next visit to Oak Island? A comfortable oceanfront getaway, that evokes those oceanside vacations experienced as a kid? With handsome pine paneling, tons of character and appealing décor, this inviting home with both ocean and sound vistas, features a first-floor downstairs bedroom with its own entrance and inside staircase leading up to the second floor. The open concept main floor - living room, dining room and kitchen - accepts for families to savor being together inside, and extends outside onto the porch, which features both covered and uncovered sections from which to appreciate the incomparable activity of both sky (birds, clouds, stars) and ocean (ships, wildlife, surf). Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom (showers-only), and the home comes with tons of games, puzzles, and a sizable collection of books. And of course, for those needing it, hi-speed internet is supplied. Also a plus is our superb location - on the West End, the Lonerider Tap Room a five min. walk away, the pier a 5-min. drive.
About the Area
Located in Oak Island, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach. Traveling with kids? Consider North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Magic Mountain Fun Park. Scuba diving and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and cycling nearby.
