This home has an open floor plan so everybody will be part of the conversation. While calming in the family room, the upsized windows will leave you being mesmerized by pulling your eyes toward the ocean waters. Come outside and choose between sunbathing on the open deck or sitting in the shade under your private gazebo. You will find yourself leaning back while the Pelicans fly by, the ocean breezes whisk through your hair, and the sounds of the waves crashing help drift you off to sleep. With 6 bedrooms, you have room to bring the kids and grandiose kids; maybe even the neighbor's kids. The master in on the main floor and with its own bath. This home is conveniently located just before the Ocean Crest Pier and the Island Way Restaurant. Take an afternoon walk down the beach to the pier to see what the catch of the day is or pack your poles and wet a hook to bring back dinner. Also, at the marina, you can rent a boat, jet skis, or kayaks. This is also home to one of the best seafood eateries in the county, The Fish House, so make sure that you visit it for a spectacular dinning experience. While on Oak Island, visit the Oak Island lighthouse and drive through the civil war fort, Ft. Caswell. If golf is on your mind, there is a great course on the island at Oak Island Golf Course. Also, there are plenty of near by golf courses in Brunswick County so you can play a different one every day.
