Bald Head Island’s impressive salt marsh is on display from this comfortable three-bedroom, pet friendly condo conveniently located near Old Baldy, the marina, stores, eateries, and the beach. This open floorplan sanctuary delights with serene treetop vistas from the kitchen, dining area, gathering space and Primary suite. The roomy kitchen features an ample pantry, plenty of counter prep room and a breakfast bar. You can appreciate munching here or close by in the bright dining area which is highlighted by a Capiz shell chandelier and sided by sliding doors opening onto a covered porch overlooking the BHI’s Maritime Forest. This is a terrific spot for bird watching or just appreciating Island breezes. Adjacent to the dining area is the home’s cozy living space. It is flooded with natural light from its side windows and its wall of sliding glass doors that open onto the home-length screened porch. Look no farther as to where you’ll savor morning coffee while watching the sun rise and or linger in the evening while appreciating vistas that stretch all the way to the mainland. This property’s bedrooms are located off a peaceful back hall. The first is furnished with two Twins and the second provides both a Double and a Twin. They share a full bath (with tub) which is just across from their doors. At the end of the hall, the generous Queen Primary suite not only features its own private ensuite bath but also tenders private access to the Maritime Forest porch. The Timbercreek community, in which this condo is located, maintains a private saltwater pool for its homeowners and their guests, as well as a Bald Head Creek boardwalk and a private dock from which you can fish, crab, or launch your kayak, canoe or SUP.
An additional $300 nonrefundable pet fee is required if bringing along a dog.

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

• Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
• The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
• Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
• Property managers typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
• Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review.
