Sit on the sizable covered balcony or inside and listen to the HipNautic Waves crashing just across the street! This bright & airy 3 Bed/2 Bath condo is located on the 2nd row from the beach & is the only condo building located on the west end of Oak Island. As an end unit, it has windows on 3 out of 4 sides & 2 sets of enormous sliding glass doors for striking natural light & ocean vistas! Since OKI is a South-facing beach, we get fantastic photo worthy sunsets & sunrises, both over the water. This entirely modernized (2023) condo includes a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Quartz countertops throughout, ceiling fans & vinyl plank floor. There is Covered Parking (3 Spaces). When you return from your walk across the street from the beach, wash off that salt & sand in the Outdoor Shower. Store all your beach gear in the storage closet just outside the front door.

Feel a comfortable stay in this roomy condo's open kitchen, dining & living areas. The kitchen is completely outfitted to prepare all your delicious meals including Drip Coffee Maker (single serve & pot), Hot Water Kettle, Blender, Bagel-Sized Toaster, Electric Griddle & Crock Pot. The huge countertop is great for additional prep & serving space. The window in the kitchen overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway which is within walking distance! The living area, with plenty of comfortable seating, has a huge screen TV plus extended cable (HDMI ports for Roku/Fire TV etc.). With 2 sliding glass doors leading to the balcony there is tons of natural light. The sizable coffee table is ideal for playing games & assembling puzzles.

This handsome location is convenient for the beach, walking, fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, cycling, running, birdwatching or simply calming. Walking distance to 2 beach access points & public fishing dock; under 2 miles away is The Point with powder soft sand, wildlife viewing & photo worthy vistas. Oak Island's groceries, shopping, 2 piers, splash pad, skateboard park, craft fairs, eateries, bars, live music & outdoor concerts with Food Trucks are under 5 miles away. We recommend the Lonerider Brewery (< 1.5 miles) with food, drinks, game nighttime, cornhole, large outdoor space & the 57th Place West Access Park next door with public boat ramp & water access point. Historic Southport is just a short 10-15 min. drive.

You will probably have spent a lot of your time at the condo sitting on the deck observing the tides come & go, feeling those restorative sea breezes & listening to those HipNautic Waves. Perhaps you were contemplating just how soon you can return.

Tips to get the very best Wilmington, NC vacation rental experience:

Get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wilmington, NC area. Reserve your rental home in Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Wilmington, NC area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Filter your search:

  • Choose a designated group leader, choose your dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. 20% Off for Stays in May, Ocean Views • 2nd Row • Newly Remodeled • Dog Friendly has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the host before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.

Tips for a great stay:

  • Get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
  • Upon arrival, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many problems.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
