Both bedrooms also feature sail chairs--comfortable and nearly indestructible-- made locally from up-cycled, racing-grade, boat sail!. The third bedroom, with queen bed, antique side tables and blanket chest, is well-suited to grandparents or another couple. It is also the location of the wireless router which affords high speed internet throughout the home. Your upstairs bespoke kitchen has bar seating as well as a more formal dining area for eight. In addition to typical amenities, savor your Keurig, espresso maker, charcoal grille (Big Green Egg, XL, to be exact), and atypical cookware including a pressure cooker favored in many cuban dishes. You'll also find your kitchen basics completely supplied on arrival-- we do ask that you replenish what you use and we welcome suggestions on what you'd like to see added in the future. Outside, enjoy cornhole in your side yard, display your grilling expertise on your own luxury Big Green Egg (but please ONLY use the supplied BGE Charcoal and SpeediLight Natural Charcoal Starters) in the hardscaped backyard with constructed-in firepit, walk through the beautiful neighborhood, or take a swim or a suntan in the in-ground pool. Jump on your bicycles or walk a little farther for the shopping or antiquing which brings day trippers down from Wilmington, Oak Island, or Bald Head. Terrific beaches are conveniently accessible by car and/or ferry, ranging from mins. on neighboring Oak Island to 30 mins. or so for Wilmington area destinations. Or, with an additional security deposit, fee, and proof of boating experience, use your 19' Grady White with a Yamaha 150, berthed within eyesight of your home, and the entire coast is your playground! Pack a picnic and Pelican Island can be your private beach, and is a 5-min. boat-ride away. Visit Bald Head Island and its miles of pristine beaches, including terrific body-surfing and surfing breaks. Boat the Intracoastal and stop for lunch, dinner, or drinks, wherever you fancy!
