Smith Island Museum of History and Franklin Square Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. With jet skiing, kayaking, and scuba diving nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.
