Have you gone "Coast to Coast?" Look no further for your ideal coastal hideaway than this newly refreshed 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanfront home on Oak Island! Located on the coveted West End of the island, Coast to Coast features comfort and relaxation for you and the entire family. Highlights include direct beach access, multiple outdoor decks overlooking the Atlantic, an open floor plan with calming coastal vibes, and modern touches throughout. You'll also notice the home is located less than 2 miles from the Ocean Crest Pier and close to many of the marvelous local eateries and stores!

One of our favorite features of this home is the broad oceanfront deck! It's ideal for appreciating your morning coffee while listening to the waves, lying out in the sun during the afternoon, or calming while watching the sunset in the evening with your favorite drink in hand. There's even a dining table that's great for gathering around to grab a fast lunch or have a oceanside family dinner together. From here, you just need to walk down the back steps to get to your direct beach access.

Inside, you'll find a roomy living room with handsome vaulted ceilings and ample windows to take in the exceptional ocean vistas! Unwind and relax on the jumbo sectional couch and watch your favorite shows together on the enormous flatscreen TV. A few steps away is the entirely equipped chef's kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, plenty of counter space, and a striking kitchen island with bar seating for up to 3. When you're ready to sit down for a meal together, the bright and airy dining area has seating for up to 8.

And, when it's time to rest and recharge, you'll find each bedroom is equipped with intelligent TVs and ceiling fans. The primary suite is on the second floor and features a king-size bed along with a private oceanside balcony where you can escape for a peaceful moment away from it all. The primary bathroom on this top level offers a gorgeously tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity to give you plenty of counter space. The second bedroom upstairs with two bunk beds makes for a great coastal getaway for the younger travelers in your group. You'll even find a additional loft area on this floor with a couch and TV area that's magnificant for the kids to hang out after the day at the beach.

Heading back downstairs, you'll find two additional serene bedrooms! The first has beautiful ocean vistas and a queen-size bed, while the second offers relaxing community vistas and a queen-size bed. These bedrooms share the downstairs bathroom, which is just as spa-like as the primary bathroom, with a cavernous tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity.

But all of this is only the start of the amazing amenities you'll have when you stay here! There is an outside shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after a day at the beach, wireless internet, and so much more. If one thing is sure, heaven awaits you at Coast to Coast! POOL COMING IN THE FALL 2025!

Wilmington, NC rental booking tips:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Wilmington, NC restaurants and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, property management companies supply Wilmington, NC area visitors guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Wilmington, NC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Select your vacation dates and max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Renovated Oceanfront Cottage w/ Direct Beach Access: Coast to Coast has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is often available online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you book the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine what is right for your vacation family.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on great feedback to drive new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
