**On April 11, 2024, we became aware of close by construction.  You may experience unpleasant environmental factors such as noise or vibrations during your stay. Permitted construction hours are outlined as 8:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday through Saturday.  We deeply regret the inconvenience but savor your kind understanding that these factors are not under the control of the homeowners or our management company. 

The “Sand Crab Cottage” is a dream come true! This appealing shabby chic 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom bungalow offers all the amenities of an fresh hotel, but in a comfortable, intimate setting. Loaded with pampering amenities, this home has it all. If you are looking for a hassle-complimentary vacation rental that offers the ability to drop your bags and hit the beach – this, is it! No need to leave the family dog at home. We welcome them to join your vacation and don’t worry because we provide amenities for them as well! Personal attention to detail, southern hospitality, and unexpected little luxuries are our trademarks. Come experience a quintessential beach bungalow at its best.

This iconic bungalow is ideally positioned on the corner of The Loop in the center of Wrightsville Beach and features a Little Free Library on the corner for the community and bungalow guests to appreciate. The cavernous front porch provides ample seating and is the finest place to kick back and relax in the subtle sea breeze. The great room of this immaculate bungalow is accented by the vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, comfortable seating options, a huge family style dining table, and cheery pops of color. You will instantly feel at home! Snuggle up on the couch with a plush throw blanket and your favorite book after the sun goes down or catch up on your favorite shows.

Upstairs is a darling guest room that is ideal for kids. Furnished with two queen beds, this nautical room is sure to inspire a feeling of wonder and magic. An upsized chair makes a ideal space to read nighttime stories to youngsters or to escape for a little rest and relaxation. There is also a full bathroom with walk in shower for added convenience.

Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, both furnished with lush king-sized feather beds that pull you in and let your cares float away. There is a full bathroom with walk in shower and dual sinks that are shared by these rooms. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you could need to make a family meal – it even includes a Margaritaville margarita machine because it is always 5 o’clock at the “Sand Crab Cottage”! Appreciate cooking on the gas range or grilling out and eating at the shaded picnic table.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the toy shed. Whether you want to body board in the surf, pack a beach cooler with ice and cold drinks, play a game of cornhole, or go for a bicycle ride around the island you are sure to find fun here. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower so that you can rinse off after a long day in the sun and sand.

Guests of the bungalow will enjoy the vantage point and people watching from the cozy front porch. To the left of the bungalow, it's a short walk to the beach. To the right of the bungalow, a short stroll to Banks Channel where you can access the intracoastal waterway. Johnny Mercer Pier is also close by for fun, fishing, and meeting up with friends. Walk to great eateries and stores. Or just relax on the front porch and watch the world go by. From the finest linens and feather beds to striking decor, to the welcome mat for your well-behaved dogs, The Sand Crab Cottage is a rental experience not to be missed. Occupancy: Strict limit of 6 people per reservation. All occupants must be disclosed as household amenities and linens are outfitted per person.
Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of 3-nighttime stay in other seasons.

Parking: Driveway can accommodate 3 cars.
