This bright & airy 3 Bed/2 Full Bath condo is in the only condo building located on the quieter less congested west end of Oak Island, and with just 15 condo units offers a more peaceful experience. As an end unit condo, it has added privacy along with windows on 3 of 4 sides, plus 2 sets of huge sliding glass doors for tons of natural light & ocean vistas! Since OKI is a South-facing beach, we get magnificant photo worthy sunsets & sunrises, both over the water.

This completely refreshed condo includes a new kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, Quartz countertops throughout, recessed lighting, ceiling fans & vinyl plank floor. There is complimentary on-site parking (3 Spaces) and community picnic bench. When you return from your walk across the street from the beach, wash off that salt & sand at the Outdoor Shower. Conveniently store all your beach gear in the storage closet just outside the front door.

Feel a comfortable stay in the roomy open kitchen, dining & living area. The kitchen is entirely supplied to prepare all your delicious meals including Drip Coffee Maker (single serve & pot), Hot Water Kettle, Blender, Bagel-Sized Toaster, Electric Griddle & Crock Pot. This charming location is convenient for the beach, walking, fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, cycling, running, birdwatching or simply relaxing. Walking distance to 2 beach access points & public fishing dock; under 2 miles away is The Point with powder soft sand, wildlife viewing & photo worthy vistas. Oak Island's groceries, shopping, 2 piers, splash pad, skateboard park, craft fairs, eateries, bars, live music & outdoor concerts with Food Trucks are under 5 miles away. Tips to get the optimal rental home experience:

When to visit Oak Island & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Reserve your Wilmington, NC rental property in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Wilmington, NC area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Wilmington, NC area magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain offers and deals for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Filter your search:

  • Begin by choosing your potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. 2nd Row • Ocean Views • Renovated Interior • Dog-Friendly • 2-min Walk To Beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always available online. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Extra fees or charges could be applied to your contract.

During your stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Make a record of any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
  • Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to compel future bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
