This delightful two story home is located on the north side of downtown's historic district, within walking distance of the live oak pavilion and all that downtown Wilmington has to offer! Constructed in 1996, savor the comfort of recent construction while in the midst of historic homes from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Appreciate the outdoors with a fenced in garden area for grilling and a screened-in back porch. The a welcoming front porch is equipped with rocking chairs and a porch swing to greet neighbors out walking their dogs or watch as your kids play in the park across from the home. Inside, Sixth on the Park features queen beds in the front and back bedrooms and a bunk bed that sleeps three in the middle bedroom (double bottom, single top).

Take a walk down to the Riverwalk for a leisurely dinner by the water and if you appreciate theater or music, Thalian Hall and The Wilson center are just down the way. In fact, you can conveniently walk to everything that makes downtown the place to be: casual to fine dining, hip coffee homes, art galleries, antique stores, horse drawn carriage rides, Stores of Old Wilmington or the Cotton Exchange, historic tours, Ghosts of Wilmington Tour, haunted pub crawls, Wilmington’s Farmer’s Market (April – December), the Azalea Festival (April), Riverfest (October), the Brooklyn Arts Center, the NC Battleship (take a ferry from Water St.), Cape Fear Community College, and The Wilmington Convention Center.

If you have a car, there is one private parking spot at the end of the driveway and an abundance of complimentary on-street parking. Wrightsville beach is roughly a 15 min. car ride from the home with Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Ft. Fisher (home to the NC Aquarium) being 30-45 mins. away. The city offers many spots for kids: Fit for Fun on 10th Street(ages 6 mo. to 5 yrs.), The Kids's Museum located downtown on 2nd and Orange (ages 2 to 10ish), Monkey Joe's, Jungle Rapids, skating rinks, an ice skating home, the list goes on.
