Location, location, location… Appreciate unobstructed vistas of the ocean from one of the original Islander Villa units located directly across the street from the ocean in the exclusive West End of Ocean Isle Beach. Just 16 steps from the beach access, you can’t get any closer unless you rent a beach front home.

Whether appreciating an early morning cup of coffee, taking a break from the sun on the covered deck, or winding down at the end of the day, you are close enough to see and hear the waves as they crash onto shore and you'll feel the constant ocean breeze that you can only get by being so close to the water.

On average, 50% of our rental weeks are booked by returning customers who savor the great location and great condition of our vacation home. We newly added a pub table with 4 lifeguard chairs to go with the unique Nags Head porch swing and multiple enormous rocking chairs on the deck.

Renters also appreciate exclusive membership rights to The Islander Beach Club which is just 200 yards down the street. The Islander Beach Club offers a humongous oceanside pool with an adjacent kiddie pool and hot tub. It also has a great outside Tiki Bar overlooking the pool and the ocean that can be appreciated throughout the day or nighttime.

Inside, the accommodations are top notch and maintained with tremendous care. In 2013 we replaced the carpet in each bedroom with new wood floors. The living room has a huge flatscreen TV with a high def cable DVR so you can record any of your favorite shows during your stay. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and the extended kitchen counter seats an additional 5 in sizable wooden stools with high backs. Each of the four bedrooms has its own full bath w/ shower, TV and DVD player. High speed wireless internet access is supplied at no additional cost.

You will understand why it has been named on of the best beaches in North Carolina, and one of the best vacation spots in America.
The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less busy than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less busy island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf stores, eateries, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart units. The backside of the island has peaceful protected water great for kayaking.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this villa is near the beach. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.
Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting.

Finding the best value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Some owners offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local shops and restaurants.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they always love to hear your praise.
