Sandy Bottoms is a 1500 sq foot bungalow in the Ibis Roost community. The Ibis Roost neighborhood is made up of 29 cottages on peaceful lanes off of the main Wynds of the island - ideal for cycling and walking even with little ones! Sandy Bottoms is directly across from the shared community pool.

This bungalow features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Downstairs, you will find a king master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The second main floor bedroom features a queen bed with a full bath just across the hall. The main living area room is open concept to the dining room with plenty of comfortable seating and space to spread out. The dining table seats eight and can be extended to seat ten. Attached to the living area is a sun-room featuring a daybed for an additional sleeping space, as well as an additional table and chairs - ideal for game nights, puzzles or a kids' dining area.

The galley kitchen is modest but mighty - and completely modernized in 2021 with brand new appliances and cabinetry. Here you will find everything you need to feel right at home - a brand new coffee station that brews ground coffee as well as K-Cups, a huge air-fryer/toaster oven, filtered water and ice in the refrigerator as well as an Instant Pot so dinner will be ready when you arrive home from the beach.

The upstairs enclosed loft area is the ideal space for kids and teens, or even for a modest family to share. The bedroom features both a queen bed and twin over twin bunk beds. Right down the hall, you will find a sizable closet as well as a private full bath.

New LVP floors were installed in 2021 throughout the home. All bedrooms as well as the living room are equipped with brand new Roku T.V.s.

The Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club operate independently from BHI Vacations, and guest memberships must be purchased directly through each club. Availability varies by home listing, and during the summer season, memberships may sell out quickly. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend securing your club membership as early as possible.

Additionally, the Bald Head Island ferry system is independently operated and not affiliated with BHI Vacations. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, we encourage guests to book ferry and tram reservations well in advance.

Sticking to your rental home budget:

• Summer is high season in the Wilmington, NC area. To get the best value, try shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
• Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

• Property managers often offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
