Welcome to Once Upon a Tide. Appreciate the spectacular sunsets from your own back porch! This 4 bedroom / 3.5 bath is located in Killegray on the dune ridge. The main home consists of 3 bedrooms, which are located downstairs. The first bedroom is a queen master suite. The 2nd bedroom consists of a king bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twins. The two bedrooms share a bath located in the hall. Upstairs is all about the view! The main living area, kitchen, dining and half bath are all located on the 2nd story. There is a balcony off of the living area that over looks the Atlantic Ocean. We also have a screen porch downstairs if you just want to get savor a peaceful cup of coffee. The crofter outside has a separate master bedroom and bathroom with a queen bed.

This vacation home is located in Bald Head Island. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• In the Wilmington, NC area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.

• Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
• Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
