Other things to note
The less stressful your beach vacation, the better! Our home manager will provide clean sheets for each bedroom folded neatly on the end of the bed before your arrival. You will also be supplied with bath towels, washcloths and bath mats in the same fashion. We will get the kitchen set up with towels and dishsoap. Please bring whatever you can think of to ensure your stay is comfortable. Of course there is Food Lion across the bridge and a great little general store about a mile down the road for last min. necessities!

2022 was the first season that my wife Jenna and I managed Endless Summer ourselves. It went gorgeous and we are excited to keep going in 2023. We have made multiple improvements in the off-season and will continue to do so for the comfort of our guests.

We felt that moving away from the property management companies would help our guests have a more delightful experience with an added personal touch by our family. We can’t wait to hear about your stay!

Strategies to get the optimal vacation property experience:

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • In the Wilmington, NC area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies supply Wilmington, NC area travel guide magazines which include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Wilmington, NC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning, selecting, and booking a perfectrental home:

  • Choose your vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Second Row 4-BD Condo w\/Ocean Views & Pool!! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Wilmington, NC vacation rental search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible online. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before you book the home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .

Considerations for your stay:

  • We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a excellent stay? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
