The kitchen opens to living & dining areas. There is a astounding view from the sizable screened porch where you can savor the serenity or watch golfers and a variety of wildlife. The breakfast counter between the kitchen & living area seats 3 & another 4 at the adorable dining table. We offer comfortable seating, numerous TVs & outdoor dining as well. The split bedrooms allow guests their own space. The master bedroom with queen bed has a walk-through closet to bath with shower. The lockout mini-suite has a kitchenette, modest screened area, a queen and full size bed, and a full bath. A queen air bed adds another bed to accommodate up to 8 guests. Full-sized washer and dryer are located in a convenient laundry closet.

Booking the best Wilmington, NC rental home experience:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Wilmington, NC area. To get the best value, change your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Selecting the best rental home:

  • First and foremost, have your family agree to trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. “Sunset Seaclusion” Condo with golf course view has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Wilmington, NC vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property owner before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what is right for your group.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • At Check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
