Appreciate the main home with its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a awesome Sunroom with wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted ceiling overlooking an inviting in-ground pool (not heated). There is a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use on the back wall of the sunroom. Across the pool is a studio tiny home that is all yours to use as well. It comes equipped with a modest kitchen, bathroom and all the privacy you need to get away. It has a queen bed and a couch bed and comfortably sleeps 3. You have full access to both homes except for two closets that are used to store our tools and supplies to upkeep the homes. The double driveway leaves plenty of room to bring a mid-size boat! Tips to get the very best vacation home experience:

Finding the best rental home value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. To book the best vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Wilmington, NC restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Many rental management companies supply Wilmington, NC area visitor guides that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Wilmington, NC area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Choosing the best rental home in Wilmington:

  • Start by selecting trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. 2 HOUSES!! Dreamy Villa & Tiny House! Large pool! has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before you book the property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Is your family looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To ensure that damages are not linked to your stay, note any problem areas during arrival. message the property manager immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget anything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
