Charming Guest House - Dog Friendly - Parking - Vacation rental home in Wilmington, NC

Welcome to our striking guest home in historic Carolina Place! The home has been freshly refreshed and has plenty of seating, a entirely supplied kitchen & coffee bar. Upstairs is a bedroom with king size bed, full bathroom & laundry. This spectacular location is a short drive to downtown and is walkable to the bars, eateries & stores in the Cargo District! We are dog friendly, but need to approve ahead of time. Let us know if you are planning to bring a dog, we allow up to 2 for a $75 pet fee per dog.

We've tried to make every aspect of this place as comfortable for guests as possible! The living room has a 55 inch TV, board games for you to appreciate, and plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen has all of the essentials you'd need for cooking including olive oil and seasonings. The completely outfitted coffee bar is complete with coffee, creamer, sugar and flavor syrups. The bedroom has a king size bed, black out curtains, and a storage area for your clothes. You'll also have access to a washer and dryer in the bathroom.

You'll adore the Carolina Place neighborhood. Wallace Park is right down the street and is a great place for a walk if you are travelling with a pet. The cargo district with all of it's bars, eateries, and stores is just a short walk away, and you can conveniently get to downtown in a short drive.

Guests will have access to the entire guest home including the patio, and will be able to check in with the key pad. We have a locked owner's cabinet in the bathroom for our storage, but otherwise you'll be able to use everything in the home. Parking is available in the driveway right in front of the guest home. We do live in the main home, but will not interact with you during your stay unless you need something.

We do welcome up to 2 dogs during your stay as long as they are approved in advance. The $75 per pet fee will be charged separately after booking, so please message us directly.

Good to Know Before Your Stay:

Verification & Rental Agreement
To help ensure a safe and secure experience for everybody, we use SafeGuest for identity verification and rental agreement review. After your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive a link with simple instructions to complete this process prior to arrival. A security deposit will be required through SafeGuest.

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM. These times allow our cleaning team the opportunity to thoroughly prepare the home for each guest.
During our busy summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), we are generally unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs from Friday through Sunday due to tight turnover schedules. During the week, we are happy to check availability within 24 hours of arrival or departure. When accommodations are possible, a fee of $25 per hour applies for early arrivals or late departures.

A Note About Coastal Wildlife
One of the joys of the coast is being surrounded by nature. Our area is home to a variety of local insects, including spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs, particularly during warmer months. The home receives regularly scheduled professional pest control treatments, but occasional sightings can still occur despite our best efforts. If you encounter any concerns during your stay, please let us know and we'll gladly arrange additional treatment if needed. Seeing native insects will not be grounds for a cancellation or refund.

Television & Streaming
While this property does not offer cable service, intelligent TVs or Rokus are available for you to access your favorite streaming platforms using your personal accounts. Please remember to log out before departure, or remotely through your streaming service if needed.

Cleanliness
Our housekeeping team takes great pride in preparing the home for every guest, however everybody is human. If anything doesn't meet your expectations upon arrival, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it promptly and help ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Respect for Our Neighborhood
This home is located in a residential community, and we kindly ask guests to be mindful of our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am each day. Parties and events are not allowed in accordance with platform policies. Excessive noise or unauthorized gatherings may result in the reservation being terminated without refund.

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment from unexpected events. Reservations and cancellations are handled according to the cancellation policy selected at booking, and we are unable to modify reservation dates within 30 days of arrival.
