Stay in our gorgeous beach hideaway on photogenic Bald Head Island!

The Tree House is located on secluded Middle Island with marsh, beach, & maritime forest vistas, and close to the BHI Sea Turtle Conservancy.

Our home has pretty 4,000 sq. feet of wraparound decks constructed to accommodate the existing trees, offering sun & shade all day long with lounge chairs, grilles, & covered dining area. We hope you appreciate our marsh observation deck off of the back of the property!

The Tree House sleeps 8 people with 3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queen) & a loft space (queen), and 3 bathrooms. The main level is an open concept living room, dining room, and galley kitchen with stainless steel appliances (please see photos).

The Tree House comes with access to a private entrance to East beach just 100 yards away. We provide two 4 seater golf carts for use during your and 2 kayaks.

For an additional fee, you can purchase a temporary membership at the BHI Country Club. It offers access to the pool, exercise center, golf course, tennis, & dining options. We do not provide access to The Shoals Club.

Bald Head Island is a handsome vacation destination accessed by a short ferry ride from Deep Point Marina in Southport, NC. The Bald Head Island Conservancy hosts organized hikes and nature walks, as well as evening sea turtle excursions. While on the island, visit "Old Baldy" lighthouse & Smith Island Museum, Bald Head Woods Maritime Forest Preserve, and other historical landmarks. Savor paddle boarding, kayaking, wake boarding, & other water sports! Delicious food options on the island include Jailhouse Provisions, marina front Jules Salty Grub & Island Pub, Sandpiper Ice Cream & Coffee, & gourmet dining at the Bald Head Island Country Club. PET NOTES: we are dog friendly with a 2 dog limit. There is a nonrefundable $300 pet fee for additional cleaning we do after any stays that include furry friends!

• Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
• Did you have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
