The Space:
Welcome to A Swell Life! The open-concept layout flows seamlessly from the living room to the dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and a pantry, giving the chef in your family plenty of space and equipment to prep delicious meals throughout your stay. The master king suite is located just off of the living room and features a full private ensuite bath. To the right of the living room is another bedroom with one double bed and one twin bed. A third queen bedroom offers deck access.
Savor the exclusive additional living area on the ground floor, furnished with a queen sleeper couch, TV, and tiki bar. After a day at the beach or calming by the pool, relax in the screened-in porch with a cool drink. Step outside to fire up the grille and appreciate outdoor meals with family and friends, or roast s'mores over the fire pit under the stars. Pool heating is available upon request for an additional fee. *

*Pool heating is available for $75/nighttime or $500/week with 24+ hours’ notice. Must be booked for your entire stay and is only available when temperatures are 55°F or higher.

**Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**
**Pet Policy: We’re happy to welcome one dog under 40 lbs with a $200 pet fee added to your reservation. A second dog is welcome, as long as their weight does not exceed 40 lbs. Any exceptions require prior owner approval and may include additional costs.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, dogs are not allowed in the swimming pool and must be friendly and nonaggressive, as service personnel may be onsite for lawn care, pool maintenance, or cleaning. We know your dog is part of your family and want them to feel welcome too, while keeping our home clean and cozy for everybody. Please note, no cats are allowed due to allergies.
The home is outfitted with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Oak Island is a beach town that is separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway. Known primarily as a family beach town, it offers plenty of activities throughout the summer, including a variety of marathons/5Ks, live music, farmers markets, and more. The Intracoastal Waterway is fashionable for kayakers and fishing, and the town has plenty of golf courses, nature walks and cycling for those who like to stay on land.

Payment schedule: 50% at time of booking, 50% or remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.
The following violations may be subject to additional fines up to $300: unregistered family pets, registered pets falling outside the approved weight limit, late departure without approval by host, & home left excessively messy.
High speed Wifi is an conveniences that is included at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
