Step back in time with this completely remodeled apartment inside one of Front Street's most impressive historic homes! This first floor apartment marries modern luxury with old world appeal, and every detail has been painstakingly thought out with our guests in mind.
With sizable windows, decorative historic fireplaces, and original wood floor, the history buff will appreciate the historic details that were kept during this remodel. All this within walking distance of all downtown has to offer.

This one bedroom, one bathroom apartment is located on the first floor of one of downtown's beautiful historic mansions. The entire property was refreshed from floor to ceiling in a way that retains the charm of historic touches while also adding the convenience of modern amenities. The soaring ceilings and enormous windows make this apartment feel cavernous and bright throughout.

The updated kitchen features plenty of cabinet and counter top space as well as all the essentials that you'd need to make a home cooked meal. There are two barstools for seating. The huge living room centers around a decorative fireplace and offers tons of comfortable seating space for calming after a long day. Pocket doors lead from the living room into the striking bedroom complete with a king size bed, arm chairs, and another handsome, decorative fireplace.

Off of the living room is a full bathroom complete with a tiled, walk in shower and linen closet. Through the bathroom door, there's a dressing room complete with make up mirrors, a dresser, and a rack for clothing storage. The best part of the apartment is the screened in porch with cozy seating where you can start your day with a cup of coffee or appreciate a drink in the evening.

Guests will have access to the entire apartment as well as a designated parking space in the gravel lot behind the home. We do have a locked closet for owner storage, but other than that you are able to use anything in the home. There are 5 other apartments in this home, but they all have a completely separate entrance. The only shared spaces are the backyard and parking areas.

Verification & Rental Agreement
To help ensure a safe and secure experience for everybody, we use SafeGuest for identity verification and rental agreement review. After your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive a link with simple instructions to complete this process prior to arrival.

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM. These times allow our cleaning team the opportunity to thoroughly prepare the home for each guest.
During our busy summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), we are generally unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs from Friday through Sunday due to tight turnover schedules. During the week, we are happy to check availability within 24 hours of arrival or departure. When accommodations are possible, a fee of $25 per hour applies for early arrivals or late departures.

A Note About Coastal Wildlife
One of the joys of the coast is being surrounded by nature. Our area is home to a variety of local insects, including spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs, particularly during warmer months. The home receives regularly scheduled professional pest control treatments, but occasional sightings can still occur despite our best efforts. If you encounter any concerns during your stay, please let us know and we'll gladly arrange additional treatment if needed. Seeing native insects will not be grounds for a cancellation or refund.

Television & Streaming
While this property does not offer cable service, intelligent TVs or Rokus are available for you to access your favorite streaming platforms using your personal accounts. Please remember to log out before departure, or remotely through your streaming service if needed.

Cleanliness
Our housekeeping team takes great pride in preparing the home for every guest, however everybody is human. If anything doesn't meet your expectations upon arrival, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it promptly and help ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Respect for Our Neighborhood
This home is located in a residential community, and we kindly ask guests to be mindful of our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am each day. Parties and events are not allowed in accordance with Airbnb policies. Excessive noise or unauthorized gatherings may result in the reservation being terminated without refund.

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment from unexpected events. Reservations and cancellations are handled according to the cancellation policy selected at booking, and we are unable to modify reservation dates within 30 days of arrival.

Location Information
One of the best parts of this location is its convenient access to close by eateries, stores, and attractions. As a result, you may occasionally hear sounds associated with downtown living, including pedestrians, car traffic, or aircraft overhead. Most guests find the area pleasantly active without being overly noisy.
