The Taylor House is bright and freshly modernized, with original single pane windows, original wood floors (please don’t bring a level), 9’ ceilings, all the appeal of a historic home with all the modern amenities. Contemporary Kitchen, gas cooktop/oven, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, three intelligent TV’s, Wi-Fi, new LG washer/dryer. Fenced in back garden to savor morning coffee or evening beverages.
One King bedroom, One Queen bedroom and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Two full bathrooms, one with a delightfully restored claw tub, the 2nd with a completely refreshed tile walk in shower plus a convenient ½ bathroom.
There is plenty of complimentary street parking on the street and 2 spots in front of the home.

The Taylor House is on a safe, impressive cobblestone street, surrounded by sprawling oak trees and handsome historic homes. Walk two blocks to the start of the award-winning Cape Fear Riverfront with countless eateries, coffee stores, galleries, breweries, wine bars, museums and stores along the way. Also, Chandlers Wharf is only two blocks aways with more restaurant options. The heart of downtown is an 8 min. walk.

Drive to North Carolina’s famed Wrightsville beach (11 miles) or Carolina Beach (16 miles) in 20 mins.. We are 5 miles from ILM airport.

Animals are welcome with a fee, please include family pets in booking.
