No detail was overlooked at this freshly constructed and impeccably designed 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom pet-friendly Oak Island vacation rental! Y Knot has the ideal blend of opulent amenities, space for the entire family or group to spread out, and an unparalleled location! You'll be mere steps away from the beach and the Yaupon Fishing Pier, where you can grab a coffee at Ruby's in the morning and effortlessly walk to KoKo Cabana for lunch or dinner. Plus, there's a private pool to savor and a enormous fenced-in backyard that's exceptional for the furry (and non-furry) kids!

Upstairs is where this home really shines with floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the modern coastal space with an airy ambiance that pairs well with vacation vibes! The inverted and open floor plan was even strategically devised to maximize the partial ocean vistas, and the finishes will blow you away — coffered ceilings, bespoke wood paneling, and much more! You'll find gorgeous furnishings, a gas fireplace, and sizable flatscreen TV in the living area. The kitchen is well-appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a massive kitchen island with seating for 4, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. This main living space is finished by the dining area with seating for up to 10 along with a half bath.

As you walk into the master bedroom, you're welcomed into a calming space that features a extravagant king-size bed, amazing coffered ceilings that are vaulted, floor-to-ceiling windows, flatscreen TV, and walk-in closets. The ensuite bathroom provides a spa-like experience with double vanity and an upsized tiled shower.

All 4 of the roomy guest bedrooms are located downstairs and have simple access to the 2nd covered porch on this level. 3 of the 4 guest bedrooms boast comfortable king-size beds, flatscreen TVs, closets, and our hotel-quality linens. 2 of those bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. If you have kids joining you or a family that would like to share the same room, you'll appreciate the last bedroom that's furnished with a queen-size bed and bunk bed. This bedroom shares a bathroom with a king guest bedroom that features a massive tiled shower.

There are many more amenities to appreciate — like the private pool, huge fenced-in backyard, shower with hot and cold water, and gas grille! You'll also find beach chairs and a wagon, so you don't have to bring your own or rent them during your stay. The moral of the story, you've found the right place if you're searching for modern and pet-friendly Oak Island accommodations! Ready to start planning your next OKI vacation? As they say… "Y Knot"!

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear units during your stay! You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more! The choice is yours! For this home you are eligible for up to $315.00 credit on any beach gear! Book now to reserve your gear today!

Please Note: Linens are supplied with your reservation and contain the following: flat and fitted bed sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.

We know you want to relax without any stops at the store when you get to the island. To get you started, we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. How to book the best rental home experience:

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Wilmington, NC area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • First and foremost, have your group agree to dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Brand New Modern Home with Private Pool Near Pier & Beach. Y Knot has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If not, email the property owner before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental

Know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
  • Record any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if a dispute is filed.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches. See for yourself by scanning the QR code and call Victory Beach Vacations at 910.458.0868 to book your Cape Fear getaway. Start making your memories today! —Grace Silipigni
