Townhouse right on the Intracoastal Waterway, and completely refreshed (constructed in 2021). This townhouse provides 180 degree vistas of the Intracoastal from the living room to the kitchen and in the master bedroom. If you want to stare at the water, but don’t want to leave home (or if the weather doesn’t permit you to go to the beach) you can just gaze at the Intracoastal Waterway from the covered deck, the living room couch or the master bedroom. The living room has five upsized windows and a sliding glass door that not only allow you to entirely view the Intracoastal, but provide tons of sunlight making you feel as if you’re outside. Watch boats go by, a variety of birds, sky divers sky dive from across the waterway and the occasional deer, turtle and/or bunny go by. The townhouse is an end-unit and feels very private. It also has dual air conditioners (one for the first floor and one for the second), a tankless water heater (so nobody has to wait to take a shower), three full bathrooms (two bathtub/showers, one stand-up shower), TVs with cable in every bedroom and in the living room, washer, dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal and an outdoor shower. The beach is less than a mile away. There is paid parking at the beach. Drive time to the beach only one or two mins.. Or, if you’d like, you can take a 10–15-min. walk to the beach or even bicycle to the beach. Beach access pathways total roughly 206 across Oak Island. Rent bicycles and ride to the beach or discover this impressive Island. The townhouse is also a mere 10-15 min. drive to downtown Southport. Please keep in mind, this is not a event home. Please respect our neighbors, many of whom live in the complex year-round. Please do not play loud music or be very loud late at nighttime. Thank you and we hope you appreciate your stay!!

Owners may have a dog and cat present during their stays.

Tricks and tips to get the perfect Oak Island vacation home experience:

Sticking to your budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in the Wilmington, NC area. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is an excellent way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many property management companies supply Wilmington, NC area visitor guides which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Wilmington, NC area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to select the perfect vacation home:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Intracoastal Views: Townhouse with Views of Intracoastal Waterway has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Wilmington, NC vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the host before reserving your home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs might be applied to your contract.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your . Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent a lot of concerns.
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Record any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
