The Space:
Welcome to Pelican Cove, a gorgeous coastal getaway designed for comfort and convenience! As you enter the top level, you’re welcomed into a bright, open-concept living area, ideal space to relax and watch movies or just appreciate family time. The entirely outfitted kitchen with breakfast bar makes meal prep effortless. Off the kitchen is a bright and airy dining area that has access to cozy deck seating if you would like to savor your meal outside. There is also a half bathroom right off the kitchen for convenience. This level also features a King primary suite with a private ensuite full bath, and deck access with outdoor seating to enjoy the coastal breeze.
Head down to the mid level where a secondary living area offers additional space to relax and play games. There is also access to a second covered deck with more seating overlooking the pool. This floor includes the bulk of the bedrooms, offering a King bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and also a Queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Also on this level is a bunk room with one Twin/ Twin bunk and one Twin/Full bunk with a Jack and Jill bathroom that opens up into the hallway, ideal for kids or additional guests.
As you head outside, enjoy your private saltwater pool, rinse off in the outdoor shower after beach days, and fire up the gas grille for painless outdoor meals. **Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**
**Up to two family pets are welcome for a $150 pet fee that will be added to your reservation**
The home is supplied with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Oak Island is a beach town that is separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway. Known primarily as a family beach town, it offers plenty of activities throughout the summer, including a variety of marathons/5Ks, live music, farmers markets, and more. The Intracoastal Waterway is trendy for kayakers and fishing, and the town has plenty of golf courses, nature walks and cycling for those who like to stay on land.
