This apartment building has been in our family for many years. My kids appreciated growing up at the beach and riding their bicycles and playing outdoors in a safe and friendly enviornment. During the peak summer months, we have a life guard at the end of the street on the beach. We wanted to share our vacation place with others as the experience at the beach is so peaceful and calming. I really believe you will have a excellent stay here.

How to find the best rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in Wrightsville Beach. To book the most suitable rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Wilmington, NC attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • In the Wilmington, NC area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Wilmington, NC area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning and choosing a perfect Wilmington, NC rental:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and select a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Oceanic Apartment in the 'Heart' of Wrightsville Beach has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Wilmington, NC rentals search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is best for your trip.
  • If there's a specific Wilmington, NC attraction you long to visit, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Record any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
